Yes! This is not a joke, in 2014, you will be presented with 2 Hercules movies and they are not sequel or prequel to each other. Both are having different casts, directors and completely different story lines.
I am not too sure whether we will get Hercules overdose then but the good news is that we have about 3 months or so of breathing time as the first Hercules movie (Hercules 3D) will be in cinemas in Mar 2014 and the second Hercules movie (Hercules: The Thracian Wars) will be in cinemas in July 2014.

Hercules 3D (Mar 2014):
Director: Renny Harlin (last two noticeable movies under his directorship are Die Hard 2 (1990) and Cliffhanger (1993).
Casts: Kellan Lutz (as Hercules), Gaia Weiss (as Hebe), Scott Adkins (as King Amphitryon)
Short Synopsis: It centers around a love story between the son of Zeus and the mortal princess of Crete, who was promised to his older brother despite her love for Hercules

Hercules : The Thracian Wars (July 2014)
Director: Brett Ratner (last two noticeable movies under his directorship are X-men: The Last Stand (2006) and Horrible Bosses (2011).
Casts: Dwayne Johnson (as Hercules), John Hurt (as King Of Thrace), Ian McShane (as Amphiaraus).
Short Synopsis: Having enduring his legendary twelve labors, Hercules, the Greek demigod, has his life as a sword-for-hire tested when the King of Thrace and his daughter seek his aid in defeating a tyrannical warlord.

From the casts and director, I personally think that Hercules: The Thracian Wars is more promising. What do you think?
