Today, I am going to switch to a rare 3D movie from Asia (Japan, to be specific). For those who have watched the very first movie of Sadako (贞子) would agree with me that this is one of the most tense and scary Japanese horror movie to date. The long haired lady in white that crawling out of the TV screen is the epic scene of the movie.
This year, Sadako (贞子) is back and it’s in 3D (as if 2D is not scary enough). To keep up with the technology, this time round, instead of crawling out from the TV screen, she will be crawling out from the computer/laptop (deduced from the trailer). I guess in the next installment (if there is one), she might be crawling out from the tablet or smartphone! ;-)
Sadako 3D (贞子 3D) will be released in Japanese on 12th May 2012 but not sure when it will be released in other countries at the moment. So, if you’ve had enough of western 3D movies and looking for a change, look out for this highly anticipated sequel in horror genre.
Last but not least, I accidentally chanced upon a photo (I think it was captured in Japan) when a lorry is transporting the promotional material of the movie. It looks eerie enough to me as it’s in real 3D:

Synopsis: Akane is a high school teacher who hears a rumor from her students that there is actual footage on the Internet of someone's suicide. The footage is said to drive anyone who sees it to also commit suicide.
