I totally enjoyed the 2006's Greek mythological blockbuster movie, 300. A visually stunning masterpiece directed by Zack Snyder (his recent masterpiece is Man Of Steel). Seven years later, a sequel (300: Rise Of An Empire) is on its way to cinemas near us (in 2014).
Zack Snyder is co-producing this sequel and it will be directed by a new director, Noam Murro. From the earlier trailer, it seems to be another visual extravaganza.

Short synopsis of 300: Rise Of An Empire (source: IMDB.com):
After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of
Xerxes marches north towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of
Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led
by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with
the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its
superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea
and land.
Sometime back, Warner Bros has released the second international trailer of the movie, with new footage and more graphically stunning visual, I am looking forward to Mar 2014 to watch it in IMAX 3D.
