300 Rise Of The Empire Latest Trailer With New Footage (Mar 2014)

300 rise of the empire
I still remember, most of the fans came out from the cinemas after watching the 2006's 300, they will shout "WE ARE SPARTAN!" out of no where! After long 8 years, the highly anticipated sequel, 300 : Rise Of The Empire is finally here. Almost, in one more week's time.

Warner Bros has just released yet another new full-length trailer (#4) with quite a number of new footage. If you are still undecided as to whether to watch the movie in big screen, maybe this latest trailer might helps.

Before checking out the latest trailer, here is the short synopsis (source : imdb.com) :

After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.

300 - Rise Of An Empire : The Latest Trailer Is Badass! (Mar 2014)

300 Rise Of Empire
Since the 2006's 300 (Gerard Butler), the word "WE ARE SPARTAN" has been occupying my limited memory space (of the brain) and I believed it will be so for a long time more.

After 8 years gap, the sequel, 300 - Rise Of An Empire is finally here! Co-written and produced by Zack Synder, this sequel was directed by Noam Murro. Of course, there will be no Gerard Butler (he was dead remember?). Some of the casts are :  Sullivan Stapleton, Rodrigo Santoro and Eva Green.

300 - Rise Of An Empire will be released on 7th March 2014 (in IMAX 3D) and below is the short synopsis :

The Greek general Themistocles battles an invading army of Persians under the mortal-turned-god, Xerxes.

I am not sure whether there will be another memorable catch phrases in the sequel but I am pretty sure that I will be watching the movie in big screen.

Recently, Warner Bros has recent the third trailer with many new footage, it is simply awesome and badass! Enjoy the trailer below.

Latest Trailer from Mr Peabody And Sherman Looks Much Better (Mar 2014)

Mr Peabody And Sherman
The upcoming 3D animation, Mr Peabody And Sherman from DreamWorks has been released with a new full-length trailer. To be frank, it is much better than the previous few.

But when Sherman takes the Wabac out for a joyride to impress his friend Penny, they accidentally rip a hole in the universe, wreaking havoc on the most important events in world history.

Noah - Great first poster and trailer (Mar 2014)

Noah
Noah, the biblical figure/story retold in big budgeted blockbuster movie. Whether you are Christian or not, I believed you know what is the story about. I believed this movie adaptation would not too far off in terms of its story line but more cool special effect is expected.

Directed by Darren Aronofsky (who last brought us the Black Swan by Natalie Portman) and starring Russell Crowe (as Noah), Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson and Anthony Hopkins. Short synopsis of the movie (source : GeekTyrant) :

The movie tells the epic biblical story of a prophet who is "subject to divine visions foretelling the end of the world. Noah attempts to tell his people to cease their mistreatment of the earth in order to be saved. No one listens to his warnings, and Noah and his family are cast out to fend for themselves in the wilderness. Noah approaches a race of giant six-armed angels known as the Watchers to rally them to his cause."

Noah will be released in big screen on 28th March 2014 in 3D. Now, enjoy the poster and trailer below.

Trailer from Mr Peabody And Sherman (Mar 2014)

Mr Peabody and Sherman
The title of this upcoming 3D animation, Mr Peabody And Sherman might not ring a bell for the young kids nowadays, but if you are slightly older (ok, maybe much older), you will know that these characters are spin off from the Rocky and Bullwinkle, popular cartoon series in the 60s.

In any case, Dreamworks Animation has just released the very first trailer of this 2014 reboot and it looks kind of fun. Short synopsis of the movie:

Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished dog in the world, and his mischievous boy Sherman, use their time machine—the Wabac—to go on the most outrageous adventures known to man or dog. But when Sherman takes the Wabac out for a joyride to impress his friend Penny, they accidentally rip a hole in the universe, wreaking havoc on the most important events in world history.

Before they forever alter the past, present and future, Mr. Peabody must come to their rescue, ultimately facing the most daunting challenge of any era: figuring out how to be a parent. Together, the time-travelling trio will make their mark on history.

Mr Peabody & Sherman - 6 Photos From The Upcoming Dreamworks Animation (Mar 2014)

mr peabody and sherman
The upcoming Dreamworks Animation, Mr. Peabody & Sherman is based on Jay Ward's classic cartoon. Directed by Rob Minkoff (whom brought us Stuart Little films [1999 and 2002] and The Forbidden Kingdom [2008]). The story centers on Mr. Peabody, who is the world's smartest dog, and his pet boy, Sherman.

I haven't seen any of the cartoon (or maybe I have but have forgotten). In any case, Dreamworks has just released 6 official photos from the movie and it looks like a mix of time travel and mummy adventure. Following is the official synopsis from imdb.com :

Using his most ingenious invention, the WABAC machine, Mr. Peabody and his adopted boy Sherman hurtle back in time to experience world-changing events first-hand and interact with some of the greatest characters of all time. They find themselves in a race to repair history and save the future.

Divergent - The new Hunger Games? (Mar 2014)

divergent
When I first read the intriguing synopsis of Divergent (an action movie set in a futuristic dystopia), I quite like the concept of dividing society into different factions and the first thing that comes to my mind is: would this be the next Hunger Games of 2014?

Directed by Neil Burger (whom last brought us Limitless [2011]) and starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Jai Courtney and Maggie Q (from Hong Kong), I personally think that it will be another teenage sensation blockbuster in 2014.

Synopsis of Divergent:

Set in a futuristic dystopia where society is divided into five factions that each represent a different virtue, teenagers have to decide if they want to stay in their faction or switch to another - for the rest of their lives. Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) makes a choice that surprises everyone. Then Tris and her fellow faction-members have to live through a highly competitive initiation process to live out the choice they have made. They must undergo extreme physical and intense psychological tests, that transform them all. But Tris has a secret that she is Divergent, which means she doesn't fit into any one group. If anyone knew, it would mean a certain death. As she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, this secret might help her save the people she loves... or it might destroy her.

Do You Know There Will Be Two HERCULES Movies In 2014?

hercules 3d and hercules the thracian wars
Yes! This is not a joke, in 2014, you will be presented with 2 Hercules movies and they are not sequel or prequel to each other. Both are having different casts, directors and completely different story lines.

I am not too sure whether we will get Hercules overdose then but the good news is that we have about 3 months or so of breathing time as the first Hercules movie (Hercules 3D) will be in cinemas in Mar 2014 and the second Hercules movie (Hercules: The Thracian Wars) will be in cinemas in July 2014.

Keep reading to check out more details about these two upcoming Hercules movies.

Enjoy!

300 Rise Of An Empire - Second Trailer (Mar 2014)

300 rise of an empireI totally enjoyed the 2006's Greek mythological blockbuster movie, 300. A visually stunning masterpiece directed by Zack Snyder (his recent masterpiece is Man Of Steel). Seven years later, a sequel (300: Rise Of An Empire) is on its way to cinemas near us (in 2014).

Zack Snyder is co-producing this sequel and it will be directed by a new director, Noam Murro. From the earlier trailer, it seems to be another visual extravaganza.

Short synopsis of 300: Rise Of An Empire (source: IMDB.com):

After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches north towards the major Greek city-states.

Sometime back, Warner Bros has released the second international trailer of the movie, with new footage and more graphically stunning visual, I am looking forward to Mar 2014 to watch it in IMAX 3D.

For my earlier coverage of 300: Rise Of An Empire, click here. Else, keep reading for the second trailer...
