Here are the TOP 5 Movies from US for the week ending 30th June 2013 (Sun).
SPECIAL NOTE : This week, the two A-list releases, White House Down (Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx) and The Heat (Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy) are of no match to the reigning Monsters. In short, Monster University retained t和e top spot with $45.6 millions in its second week. The Heat is at the surprise second spot with $39.1 millions (performed much better that the industry estimate). This week, the most surprising "flop" is the White House Down, it took in only $24.9 millions over the weekend and managed only at the forth place.
Next week, two of the most anticipated new releases are The Lone Ranger (Johnny Depp teamed up with Jerry Bruckheimer [director from the Pirates Of The Caribbean fame] once again on this action packed cowboy movie) and the Despicable Me 2 (ooooh,, the cute minions.... ba-na-naaaaaa).
Now, enjoy the chart...
