Oz The Great And Powerful - New Character Posters

The upcoming adaptation of the Wizard Of The Oz fantasy, Oz - The Great And Powerful, starts to built up its marketing effort by releasing 4 more new character posters recently.

For the movie trailers and posters, check out my earlier coverage at Stunning Visual Treats from Oz: The Great And Powerful.

This visual treats from Sam Raimi (whom brought us the Spiderman Trilogy) will only be released in Mar 2013 (8th Mar 2013 to be exact) but the stunning trailers and movie posters that we've seen so far have garnered enough attractiveness to watch it in 3D or even IMAX 3D. What do you think?

Jack The Giant Slayer - 5 New Giant Character Posters

The upcoming fairy tale adaptation, Jack The Giant Slayer, has just been released with 5 new character posters and the focus is on the GIANTS.

Personally, I don't find these giant character posters fascinating but I guess New Line Cinema just wanted to highlight to the audience that giants will be the main characters in the movie (just like the hobbits are the main characters in The Hobbit).

Brief Synopsis of Jack The Giant Slayer (source: GeekTyrant):

Jack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants.

Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend–and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

Les Miserables - New Character Posters

Les Miserables, the highly anticipated Broadway adaptation, which slated to be released on Christmas Day, has just released 2 more character posters.

This time round, both are couple shots, one good couple and one bad couple. Check out the posters below and decide for yourself which is which? ;-)

The Hobbit - 14 New Character Posters

Woohoo! Sizzling hot from oven!

Here are another set of 14 new character posters (in HD) for the upcoming blockbuster, The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey. The posters feature Gandalf, Bilbo, Thorin, Gollum, and the band of Dwarves.

Wreck-It Ralph - New Character Movie Posters

Wreck-It Ralph, the upcoming animation centred around the old arcade games characters has been gaining momentum in its marketing effort. Walt's Disney has just released four sets of characters movie posters. Generation X or Y might not be familiar with these characters but they sure looks very very familiar to me! Having said that, I am sure Generation X and Y will still find these "Angry Birds" of arcade generation fun and interesting.

Brief synopsis of Wreck-It Ralph : "A video game villain wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives."

For the movie trailer, check out my earlier post on New Trailer - Wreck-It Ralph. The movie will be released on 2nd Nov 2012 (Singapore on 20th Dec 2012). Meanwhile, just enjoy the movie posters.

Cheers!

Hotel Transylvania - 7 New Character Posters

Hotel Transylvania, the upcoming 3D animation from Sony Pictures to be released in Sep 2012 (in USA and selected countries) has just bombarded the fans with 7 new character posters. It is a family oriented movie with Dracula/monsters theme.

The casts (voice actors) include Adam Sandler (as Dracula), Selena Gomez (as Mavis, daughter of Dracula), Kevin James (as Frankenstein) and many more.

Oh, before the posters, maybe you would like to check out the movie trailer first (I like the ending part of the trailer whereby a mere contact lens removal act is deemed as THE most disgusting thing in the world, as far as Dracula is concerned) :

Now, enjoy the posters below:

Cheers!
