5 Things You Need To Know About Les Miserables (2012)
This Christmas, one of the the MUST WATCH movie is non other than Les Miserables. This adaptation from one of the most famous Broadway show set to hit the theatre near you on the Christmas Day and it seems to be an epic in the making.
By the way, do you know that prior to this 2012 adaptation, there was an earlier version in 1998 with equally strong casts like Liam Neeson (as Valjean), Geoffrey Rush (as Javert) Uma Thurman (as Fantine) and Claire Danes (as Cossette). How does this 2012 version compared to the 1998 version? That will be a great material for a separate topic in another blog post. I promise I will do my "home work" and write the comparison soon, so do drop by often! ;-)
Meanwhile, let me share with you 5 things that you need to know about the current version of Les Miserables:

Les Miserables - The Featurette
Les Miserables is undeniably one of the most successful Broadway show in the history. This year, the reboot is coming to the theater near you during the Christmas period.
With sterling casts like Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anna Hathaway and Amanda SeyFried and the live singing recording concept (as evidenced in the following featurette), it is one of my MUST WATCH movie in December!
Amanda Seyfried's singing skills was evidenced in Mama Mia and Hugh Jackman is a Broadway actor, so his singing skills is non-questionable too. What worries me is about the singing skills of Anna Hathaway and Russell Crowe. After viewing the trailer, I am relieved as Anna Hathaway seems to sing very very well. but Russell Crowe's singing skills is yet to verify! Stay tune for more upcoming teasers, trailers, featurettes.
Meanwhile, enjoy the featurette below:
Cheers!

Les Miserables - First Trailer And Movie Stills (Dec 2012)
I believed most of you would have heard of (or seen) the famous Broadway musical "Les Miserables". Finally, this world famous Broadway musical has been adapted into a star studded movie which will be released in the Christmas 2012 period.
The prominent stars in this upcoming blockbuster movie include Huge Jackman, Ruseell Crowe, Anne Hathaway (the latest Cat Women in "The Dark Knight Rises"), Sacha Baron Cohen (from the "Borat" fame), Amanda Seyfried and many more.
As at now, it is still not clear whether the movie will be in 3D or IMAX at all but being a Singaporean, I just want to showcase the typical characteristic of Singaporean, which is "Kiasu-ism" (Singlish, stands for "worry of losing out"). Hence, sharing the very first trailer of "Les Miserables" here, which is hot from oven:
Following are some of the movie stills:
