Weekly Box Office Movies in US (Ending 2013/01/13)

zero dark thirty
Here are the TOP 5 Movies from US for the week ending 13th January 2013 (Sun).

SPECIAL NOTE : This week, Zero Dark Thirty took the top spot from the words of mouth and sterling review by the critics. The other two new releases A Haunted House (a spoof comedy by Marlon Wayans) and Gangster Squad (with Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling) took second and third spot respectively. It is surprising to see that A Haunted House pipped the much larger firm, Gangster Squad!

By the way, in case you are not aware, the following movies have won the following Golden Globe Awards:

1. Zero Dark Thirty :
Best Actress (Jessica Chastain) in Motion Picture - Drama category.

2. Django Unchained:
Best Supporting Actor (Christoph Waltz) in Motion Picture - Drama category.

3. Les Miserables:
Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category.
Best Actor (Hugh Jackman) in Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category.

Well done and congratulations to all of them!
