Here are the TOP 5 Movies of Singapore and Malaysia for the week ending 4th Nov 2012 (Sun).
SPECIAL NOTE : As expected, after take on the European markets, the 23rd James Bond Franchise, Skyfall opened with a BANG in Singapore and Malaysia too. It will only be released in US over this weekend, similar box office phenomena is expected in the US box office too!
As at last week, Skyfall has earned $287 millions internationally (and that's excluding the US market), it is a matter of time for it to eclipse the most successful James Bond movi, Casino Royale @ $427 millions (which is also under the helm of Daniel Craig).
To prepare for the forthcoming grand release of Skyfall, the 23rd installment of 007 franchise, Coke Zero has teamed up with the James Bond franchise for a cool stunt challenges, the 007 style. Previously, Coke Zero also worked on ads for the 2008 release of Quantum of Solace.
What they did this time round is orchestrated an elaborate stunt for unsuspecting train passengers to win exclusive tickets to see Skyfall. This video has gone viral and received 2.1 millions views since its released 3 days ago.
As the promo slogan said it all "Unlock the 007 in you. You have 70 seconds!"
Fellow James Bond fans, here come another wave of promotional media for Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond Movie! MGM has just released an enhanced version of the international trailer (with never seen before footage) and an IMAX Movie Poster.
Get ready to fall for Skyfall! From the early previews by well known film critics, Skyfall probably is the BEST James Bond movie thus far (some already rated it at a classic i.e. 5 out of 5). Can't wait to see it in IMAX!
If James Bond (007) is real, when I said real, I meant his lifestyle, his gadgets and high-tech sport cars etc.., how much do you think it will cos tthe tax payer in supporting his lifestyle? As per fancydresscostumes.co.uk, it will costs us about $5.8 millions.
Oh, by the way, the 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall is coming to the theater near you in end Oct or early Nov (depending on where you stay). So, do pay attention on his lifestyle in this installment and tell me whether you are agreeable with this make-believe costs? ;-)

Skyfall is definitely gaining its marketing power and it hits the tipping point with the recent "leak" of the theme song from non-other than the Diva, Adele! I've listened to the song for countless times now and I am still addicted to it. ;-)
On top of my recent sharing of the compilation for this 50 years movie franchise (if you have missed it earlier, click on Your Ultimate 007 (James Bond) Guide [Slide] to view the 29 pages of my compilation), I managed to curate a number of new video featurettes and theme song (full version). I am sure there are more videos/trailers coming your ways prior to the release of the movie in Oct/Nov 2012 (depending on where you are), as at now, it is already one of my MUST-WATCH movie. What about you?

Skyfall, the 23rd James Bond movie is on its way to the cinema near you. To be exact, it will be premiered in London on 23rd Oct 2012 and released internationally from late Oct 2012 onward.
Being one of the most successful movie franchise and long standing history way back to 1962 (yes, we are talking about 50 years history here), it is definitely worthwhile to recap the transformation of this movie franchise.
Thus, I've spent 3 hours last night to compile a guide for the 007 fans (hope you are one of them). Questions like: how many actors have assumed the role of 007? Who have acted in which 007 installments? How are each installments fair in the box offices etc... will be answered in this elegant guide, I called it "Your Ultimate 007 Guide".
I've embedded the guide below for your easier viewing. However, depending on your browser, this embedded version might not be displayed with an optimal visual, click on the link underneath to visit the slideshare site for the original version:
The 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall is gaining momentum in its marketing effort, after the recent release of new trailers and TV spots, MGM has just released 11 new movie stills.
Brief synopsis of Skyfall:
Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
There are still about 4 months before the 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall is released internationally (Oct 2012 in Europe and Nov 2012 in other area), but the recent released of movie trailer (in conjunction with the London Olympic 2012) has created enough buzz for the fans (me included).
MGM has just released the elegant banner and character posters of Skyfall, I likes the black and white, clean and sleek theme...Now, I am longing for more...
Are you a James Bond fans? If yes, are you looking forward to this upcoming franchise? DO share your view in the comment.

P/S: If you are going to watch the animation Brave(click on the link or image below for more details) from Pixar, you will be pleasantly surprised by the bonus animation called La Luna in the first 10 minutes or so. Rest assured that you are not in the wrong theatre!
James Bond: "Everyone needs a hobby" Villain: "So, what's yours?" James Bond: "Resurrection"
I especially like the above conversion at 1.51 min of the trailer, it sets the tone of the upcoming 23rd James Bond movie, Skyfall (the 3rd by Daniel Craig). From the cool and explosive trailer, it seems that the plot will be revolve around M, James Bond's boss (Judi Dench) and the nemesis will be a very personal one.
Another piece of good news is that Skyfall will be released in IMAX format, in Nov 2012 (earlier released in Europe in late Oct 2012).
Enjoy!
Following are the movie poster and movie stills from Skyfall:
007 (aka James Bond), the most successful and longest running movie franchise in the Global Movie History is coming up with its latest serving, Skyfall (the 23rd movie). I am pretty sure most (if not all) of you folks would know what to expect when come to 007 (Double Oh Seven) movies. The gun and physical fighting, the near-dead escape, the sleek and highly intelligent gadgets/equipments and of course the Bond Girl(s)! Also, last but not least, the famous catchphrases like:
"My name is Bond, James Bond"
"Shaken, not stirred" (this is how 007 enjoy his martini)
In Skyfall, Daniel Craig reprises the role of smart and intelligent British Secret Service Agent, code name 007. Also, the competent Judi Dench reprises the role of M, boss of 007. She will have meatier role in this latest installment as her past is the key plot in Skyfall. It is directed by Sam Mendes whom brought us the blockbuster movies like American Beauty (1999), Road To Perdition (2002) and Revolutionary Road (2008), just to name a few.

Skyfall will be released in US in Nov 2012 in IMAX format. To curb your hunger for what to expect of this forthcoming installment, Sony has released the very first Skyfall movie poster and some of the movie stills recently. It is still sizzling hot from oven!
