Move over James Bond or Indian Jones (temporarily), here come the Asia's very own hero, Asian Hawk (aka Jackie Chan). Chinese Zodiac or CZ12 is Jackie Chan's 101 movies. He is directing and acting in this third installment of popular action franchise, Armour Of God (after 21 years lapsed).
Following are the first 2 installments : Armour Of God (1986) and Operation Condor (1991):
CZ12 will first be released in Hong Kong on 12th Dec 2012 (to coincide with the movie title) and will subsequently be released in other Asian countries like China, Singapore, Malaysia from 20th Dec 2012.
When talk about Chinese action movie, one of the actor that comes to our mind (especially those from the Asian Community) would be Jackie Chan. The action movie superstar from Hong Kong has produced, directed and acted on countless action movie classics (in both Hong Kong as well as Hollywood).
This year, he is back with an even grander action movie entitled Chinese Zodiac (十二生肖). Accordingly to him, this movie is his brainchild and it took him 7 years to produce it. He is the writer, the director and the lead actor in this action packed movie which revolves around 12 mystic artifacts (bronze heads of the animals) from the Chinese zodiac (The character he played, Asian Hawk, is from his previous classic Operation Condor: Armour Of God [click on the image below for more details]).
Chinese Zodiac will be released on 12.12.2012 (I personally believed that this date is specifically chosen because of the 12 mystic artifacts) in IMAX 3D (if I am not wrong, this will be the very first Chinese Movie to be released in IMAX 3D).
