Minions - First Trailer (Jul 2015)

Minions, the much anticipated spin-off from the Despicable Me is coming next year. Meanwhile, Illumination Entertainment has released the firs ever trailer to remind the fans about these banana-craze cute little creatures.

Directed by Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin, the voice casts are Sandra Bullock, Michael Keaton, Jon Hamm, Katy Mixon and Pierre Coffin himself. Check out the synopsis of Minions (source : imdb.com) below :

Minions are yellow henchmen, who have existed since the beginning of beginning, evolving from a yellow single-cell organisms into beings who have only one purpose: to serve the most ambitious villains. After their masters were destroyed, they decide to isolate themselves from the world and start a new life in Antarctica. Sometime in the 60s, the lack of a master drives them into depression, so bravest minion and two other volunteers set out to find a new one. They arrive at a villain convention, where they compete for the right to be henchmen for Scarlet Overkill, a stylish and ambitious villain determined to dominate the world and become the first female super-villain.

10 Impossibly Cute Minions Inspired Cosplay Character Arts

Who doesn't like minions? 

Who doesn't want to get more of minions? 

Minions are everywhere nowadays. In fact, it has created massive massive queues in Singapore and Malaysia when the famous Fast Food Chain (read McDonald's) decided to bring in the minions character toys series. All of them sold out in all branches within hours of release. 

I've watched the Despicable Me 2 and kind of like the cute little monsters too. I can fully understand why so many people are so crazy about them. One word: CUTE!

By the way, minions will be having their own movie in Dec 2014. Besides, Steve Carell (voice of Gru), Sandra Bullock will be in the project too (voice of Scarlett Overkill). Looking forward to it! ;-)

Despicable Me 2 - The Only Infographic You Need On Who's Who Of The Minions

I think we can never have enough of the minions (yes, I am referring to the super-cute little yellow creatures from the "Despicable Me" and "Despicable Me 2"). However, many of you might be having a huge challenge in identifying who's who of the key characters of the minions.

 

Overall, there are about 10 key minions in the movie and some of them are more popular (aka cuter) than the others. With the immerse popularity of the movies (Last week, Despicable Me 2 opened with a whopping $142.1 millions!), minions are everywhere.
