Jobs And Diana - 2 Epic Biopic's Latest Trailers [Non 3D]

jobs and dianaOne is a visionary from US that changed the world and the other is people's Princess from UK that touches millions. Both are iconic figures of our times. Today, I am going to share 2 trailers from 2 upcoming biopic movies, Jobs and Diana (both look equally promising).

Simple movie titles but complicated lives!

One important point that I must mention again (I mentioned it in my social networks earlier) is that both movies did amazingly well is selecting the right actor/actress to play the titular roles (Ashton Kutcher for Steve Jobs and Naomi Watts for Princess Diana), they seems to fit into the roles perfectly well (especially their similarity in apprearance).

Both are non 3D movies but after watching the trailers, I thought it is still worthwhile to share it with my readers here.

Enjoy!

Turbo Is Not About Speed, It's About Dream (Aug 2013)

turbo animationTurbo, DreamWorks Animation's latest 3D animation is not about speed, it is a movie about dream. We all have dreams (at least at some point of our life, we did ever have dreams). Some dreams might seem too hard to achieve or near impossible (initially) but Turbo is here to convince us that there is always POSSIBILITY as long as we keep our DREAM alive!

Directed by David Soren (his previous animation fame are Madagascar : Escape 2 Africa [2008] and Shark Tale [2004]) and voiced by Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti and Michael Pena. This feel-good animation set to warm your heart slowly but surely (from the speed of snail to the speed of turbo).

Synopsis of Turbo (source: imdb.com):

All his life, Theo the garden snail has lived a slow lane life with dreams of speed at the Indy 500. Suddenly, a freak mishap gives him the ability to move at superspeed, which puts Theo and his brother at a failing strip mall. They are discovered by Tito, a goofy fast food worker, and his crew of racing snails, and a wild idea is born for Theo to race with his heroes in Indianapolis. Now, this gang of misfits are travelling to that city to dare pursue the impossible dream, which will require all of Theo's speed as Turbo to have any shot at achieving.

Elysium - The New Poster And Featurettes (Aug 2013)

elysiumElysium, the upcoming Sci-fi feautring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster has just been released with a new poster and the featurettes. As per my earlier post, the storyline and plot of Elysium is seems so familiar i.e. been there, done that! Having said that, I am still looking forward to it since I am a sci-fi fan.

Short synopsis of Elysium:

In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined planet. The people of Earth are desperate to escape the crime and poverty that is now rampant throughout the land.

The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max (Matt Damon), an ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium's Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces – but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.

Elysium will be released in IMAX 3D on 9th Aug 2013. Keep reading to view the new poster and clips.

Percy Jackson - Sea Of Monsters : The More Interesting Trailer Is Here!

percy jackson sea of monsters
Monster movie is IN nowadays, in fact, they are evergreen! About one and a half month after releasing the much anticipated giant monsters blockbuster, Pacific Rim (11th Jul 2013), another monsters-filled movie, Percy Jackson - Sea Of Monsters will be released in the cinema from 29th Aug 2013 onwards.

Sequel to the 2010's Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief, the story follows the adventure of the son of Poseidon (Percy Jackson) in preventing an ancient devil from rising. Lots of monsters and demigods are expected and since it will be released in 3D, lots of cool special effects are expected as well.

Synopsis of Percy Jackson - Sea Of Monsters:

Percy Jackson has had an unnervingly quiet school year. But then he discovers that the magical borders protecting Half Blood Hill are failing. Unless something is done, the camp will be attacked by demons and monsters. The only way to restore power to the camp's borders and to save their home is to find the mythical Golden Fleece. And the only who can undertake this dangerous quest are Percy and his friends. Embarking on a treacherous odyssey into the uncharted waters of the Sea of Monsters (known to humans as the Bermuda Triangle), they battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate Evil.

Elysium - The Stunning New Trailer (Aug 2013)

elysiumElysium, the upcoming sci-fi, starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster looks cooler in the latest full length trailer. More intense, more action and I can relate more toward the dire situation that the character of Matt Demon (Max De Costa) is going through.

Directed by the District 9 (2009) director, Neill Blomkamp, the storyline of this futuristic post Apocalypse sci-fi looks somewhat "been there", "done that". Having said that, I am a fan of Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, hope that their chemistry do sparkle in the movie. Oh, by the way, Jodie Foster will be the villain in the movie.

Short synopsis of the Elysium (source: GeekTyrant):

In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. The people of Earth are desperate to escape the planet’s crime and poverty, and they critically need the state-of-the-art medical care available on Elysium – but some in Elysium will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve their citizens’ luxurious lifestyle. The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max (Matt Damon), an ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him against Elysium’s Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces – but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well

Elysium will be released in the theatres near you in August 2013.

Now, enjoy the new trailer below.
