Here are the TOP 5 Movies from US for the week ending 1st Sep 2013 (Sun).

Last weekend, the new release documentary about the mega boy band that shoot to the stardom in recent years, One Direction - This Is Us tops the chart with $17 millions. Lee Daniel's The Butler (Forest Whitaker) continue its impressive run with $14.7 millions at second place.

The other new release (foreign film, in Spanish), Instruction Not Included doing quite well at fifth place with $7.5. The reason it did well is because this is a peanut budget project (estimated budget is about $5 millions).

Now, enjoy the chart...

July is drawing to an end soon and the only 3D movie left to watch now is The Wolverine (I am planning to watch it over the weekend after my Bald Statement event). So, for 3D and/or IMAX movie fans, what are the upcoming 3D or IMAX movies to look out for in August 2013?

I hear you and thus created this post to give you a sneak peek of what's coming our way. In summary, following are the 5 movies to be discussed in this post:

1. The Smurfs 2 (3D - 2nd Aug)

2. Elysium (IMAX - 9th Aug)

3. Percy Jackson - Sea Of Monsters (3D - 9th Aug)

4. Planes (3D - 9th Aug)

5. One Direction - This Is Us (3D - 30th Aug)

If you only have time for 2 movies in Aug, my personal recommendation are Elysium and Percy Jackson - Sea Of Monsters.
