Hansel And Gretel Witch Hunters 3D (Jan 2013)

Hansel And Gretel, the popular fairy tale from Brother Grimm has a new twist  in this latest adaptation. Instead of the innocent brother and sister, Hansel and Gretel are now bounty hunters who track and kill witches like nobody's business.

Lead by Jeremy Renner (as Hansel) and Gemma Arterton (as Gretel), this latest adaptation was directed by Norwegion director Tommy Wirkola whom brought us Dead Snow in 2009 (click on the image below for more details).

Somehow, the movie poster and trailer of Hansel And Gretel Witch Hunters reminded me of Sherlock Holmes (the one from Robert Downey Jr). Except that the main characters are dealing more with the like of werewolves and witches. What do you think?

The Amazing Spider-Man (Jul 2012)

Super-hero movie is here to stay! After the wildly successful of "The Avengers", here come the other highly popular super-hero franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man. To me, it is not a sequel or prequel, it is a reboot with brand new casts and director, I hope to have a whole new web slinging experience with this reboot. 

The movie will be released not only in 3D but also in IMAX 3D, it means there will be extravagance of action (mostly high rise building jumping and slinging by you know who) and special effect. This time round, the villain is The Lizard/Dr Curt Conners (portrayed by Rhys Ifans). Also, one thing to note is that the main casts aka the Spiderman/Per Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) are both the love interest on-screen as well as off-screen.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (Jun 2012)

Can you imagine that the 16th president of United States is a secret vampire hunter? You can't? Me neither.. Fret not, the forthcoming fantasy horror movie, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will help you with vivid stunning 3D visual effect which left nothing for imagination.

I personally like the first official movie poster of which "the president" is sitting under the full-moon in a dark tone forest. It give me a sense of eeriness.    

Director of the film, Timur Bekmambetov is a Russian-Kazakh whom brought us the popular vampire franchise, Day Watch (2006) and Night Watch (2004). Click on the images below for more details:
