The Avengers (May 2012)

the avengers
By now, I am sure you folks have come across (one way or the other) the multimedia releases of the forthcoming blockbuster movie “The Avengers”. Be it the teasers, trailers or even the movie posters, the only response that I can muster is “Wow”! I truly believe that the movie will live-up to its hype.

If you are still clueless, The Avengers is a Super Heroes comic-book adaptation movie. Following the like of Spiderman, Batman etc… the major difference is that there will be many more heavyweights super heroes appearing in this movie. To name just a few: Ironman, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and a few others. So, besides expecting the marvelous special effects, do look out for the great performance from the lead actors/actress (I means the super heroes)

The movie will be released on 1 May 2012 (Labour Day) in US and many other countries, including my home country (Singapore). I already planned to catch it in IMAX 3D, one of my way to pamper myself. What about you? Are you going to catch it?
Enjoy...

Weekly Box Office Movies in US, Singapore and Malaysia (#3-20120325)

Here are the TOP 5 Movies for the week ending 25th Mar 2012 (Sun)

From this week onwards, I will be adding the box office from Malaysia, my neighbouring country, as well. Also, to ensure that you folks can check out more details of the corresponding box office movies, I will be adding hyperlink to the movies' IMDB (Internet Movies Database) page, Youtube or official site at the end of the post. Hope that this is useful to you as I foresee that there might be more and more other languages' movies coming into picture.

So, continue reading to the end.

SPECIAL NOTE: This week, "The Hunger Games" tops the chart in US, Singapore and Malaysia. With it's US$155 mil debut in US, it breaks the record for the biggest opening of a non-sequel. Basing on the ticket sale's momentum (I've failed to get the tics for 2 consecutive days), I am pretty sure that The Hunger Games will be one of the biggest blockbuster movie in 2012. As this is the first installment of a trilogy, more hunger games are on it's way.

Men In Black III (May 2012)

man in black 3
Before I talk about today's 3D Movie, just like to sidetrack a bit on another "related" movie which I watched recently, The Women In Black (by Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Porter). It is a totally different genre but I brought it up because of the movie title, which is so close and I enjoyed it a lot. It's an intense and suspenseful horror movie, highly recommended if you are into horror movie.

Enough of sidetrack, let's get back to today's movie, Men In Black III. In this third installment of the highly popular sci-fi, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their MIB roles with a twist. It's kind of the "back to the future" story line whereby Will will be meeting with the younger Tommy (by Josh Brolin). I think Tommy finally found his match of the most "stoned face" actor in Hollywood. Josh done it with perfection (at least from the trailer), especially the trademark "smile" (many don't consider that as smile, in the first place!).

Enjoy...

Wrath Of The Titans (Mar 2012)

My next most anticipated 3D blockbuster movie is non other than the Wrath Of The Titans. This is a follow-up installment from Clash Of The Titans (2010). It looks very promising, at least from the posters and trailers released so far.

As per the first installment, there are lots of different unthinkable creatures/monsters and fighting sequence to be appeared in this sequel as well. It seems that the fighting element is switched from water/sea to fire/lava and lots of it.

This is the kind of movie that worth catching it in IMAX 3D, I will definitely do. It will be released in US on 29th Mar 2012. Hope it comes sooner to Singapore, can't wait for the release!
Enjoy the sharing...
