Oscars 2014 nomination has been released and next Sunday (2nd March 2014) will be the Oscars ceremony. This year, the Best Picture nominated films are intensely competitive and all films have chance to beat each other out. 

Recently, Todd Spence of Break.com has released a set of mash-up posters of the Best Picture Nominated Films with the famous Pixar characters. Before checking out the "double", following are the list of the nominated films :

The Oscars 2013 Winners And How I Did With My Prediction

The Oscars 2013 Winners have just been announced a couple of hours ago. Are you surprise with the results? Being a Chinese myself (even though I am not from Taiwan), the most touching moment is when the Best Director Winner, Lee Ang, is being announced. He thanks practically everyone involved in the film, especially those from Taiwan. And oh, he thanks "Movie God" too! ;-) 

Life Of Pi is his masterpiece with great visual awesomeness and high spiritual value.

Now, let's see how I do with my predictions done about one month ago....(my predictions are highlighted in yellow).

Oscars 2013 Is Almost Here, What Is Your Prediction?

The 85th Annual Academy Awards (aka Oscars 2013) will be held on this coming Sunday, 24th Feb 2013 at 8.30 PM ET (5:30 PM PT). This year, the host will be the funny guy, Seth McFarlane. Remember Family Guy (animation series)? Ted (blockbuster movie)? That's the guy...behind them.

With his motorised mouth and great sense of humour, I hope he will live-up to the great expectation. Will you be catching him live on TV?

My Prediction Of The 85th Annual Academy Awards Winners (OSCARS)

The Golden Globe Awards Winners have been established, it is time for us to move on to the "main dish", which is the Oscars. The Academy Awards 2013 will be conducted on 24th February 2013 at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center.

Meanwhile, let's take a look at the nominees for all the 24 categories. This year, Lincoln earned  a leading 12 nominations followed by Lee Ang's Life Of Pi (11 nominees). Both Les Miserables and Silver Linings Playbook are tied at 8 nominees each. 

Following the tradition of Golden Globe winners prediction, I am going to do the same for the Oscars winners (my predictions are highlighted in yellow). Wish me luck!;－)
