The Matrix KIA Ads
Still remember the 1999 The Matrix whereby Keanu Reeve (Neo) is asked to choose between the blue pill vs the red pill?

They are back!!!

This time round, it is in the form of cool advertisement, Laurence Fishburne reprises his role as Morpheus in this Kia K900 commercial. And it has a name too, it's name is "The Truth".

Robocop - IMAX Poster And Exclusive Clip (Feb 2014)

Robocop 2014
Robocop reboot in around the corner, it will be in IMAX and I am looking forward to it. I still remember when the Robocop suit first unveiled a few months back, it received tons and tons of negative feedback. But now, the finished product is almost here, I have a feeling that the early doubters might need to find a place to hide soon as it looks awesome in the trailer.

Sony Pictures has just released the IMAX Poster in crimson theme which is bloody badass. Also, Empire has shared an exclusive clip of the movie which is fantastic too. Before check out the video, take a look at the synopsis of Robocop (source : imdb.com) :

In 2028 Detroit, when Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop - is critically injured in the line of duty, the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer.

Now, enjoy the IMAX poster and video clip from Empire below.

300 - Rise Of An Empire : The Latest Trailer Is Badass! (Mar 2014)

300 Rise Of Empire
Since the 2006's 300 (Gerard Butler), the word "WE ARE SPARTAN" has been occupying my limited memory space (of the brain) and I believed it will be so for a long time more.

After 8 years gap, the sequel, 300 - Rise Of An Empire is finally here! Co-written and produced by Zack Synder, this sequel was directed by Noam Murro. Of course, there will be no Gerard Butler (he was dead remember?). Some of the casts are :  Sullivan Stapleton, Rodrigo Santoro and Eva Green.

300 - Rise Of An Empire will be released on 7th March 2014 (in IMAX 3D) and below is the short synopsis :

The Greek general Themistocles battles an invading army of Persians under the mortal-turned-god, Xerxes.

I am not sure whether there will be another memorable catch phrases in the sequel but I am pretty sure that I will be watching the movie in big screen.

Recently, Warner Bros has recent the third trailer with many new footage, it is simply awesome and badass! Enjoy the trailer below.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
*Still showing at the time of this post, except for The Hobbit - The Desolation Of Smaug, which will sure to go up one or two places, the rest of the positions should remain status quo.

I am proud to share that I've seen all the above top 10 movies and many those outside the list too. What surprises me is that The Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug is at the lower end of the list, I expect it will be at 8th position at the end but it is still not as a good position for such a mammoth size blockbuster movie, maybe most of the audience went Middle Earth-fatigue already?

The other observation worth noting is that all the above-mentioned movies are in 3D or IMAX or both.

Cheers!
